About the Wedding
Redwood Canyon rests in a private, tree-lined meadow with a natural woodsy feel. Elegant and intimate, it features an ample reception space with a layout that was modernized entirely during the Spring 2025 renovation. Amidst a lush green forest, this wedding day felt like a quiet retreat from the busyness of the suburbs and the city.
For Vivi, getting married meant having to leave her home country of India so she could build a new life with Derik in California. Although the transition wouldn’t be easy, their wedding day revealed so much love and a strong support system across both of their families and friends.
The day was spent getting married in their secluded ceremony area, enjoying the company of their closest loved ones, and dancing the night away in this lush private estate in Castro Valley, CA.
